HR Manager – Dawson Mine
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be an integral part of the senior leadership team and provide HR support and consultation to the General Manager at the Dawson Mine operation. You will have the ability to influence and build relationships with driven commitment to contribute in the delivery of a safe and efficient workplace
The role will provide career development opportunity for a senior HR Manager. To be successful in this position you will have substantial experience and understanding of the mining and resources sector from within a senior HR leadership role. Your experience will be combined with appropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, or a related discipline.
Your experience must include:
- Strong and decisive operational and functional leadership
- Extensive understanding Industrial Relations and legislation
- Relevant track record of building operational leadership capability and delivering cultural improvement
- Strong Human Resources and business acumen with the ability to deal with complex third party stakeholders (for e.g. governments, community, contractors, unions, etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of mentoring team members towards achieving organisational objectives
- History of interfacing with and influencing senior executives
- Broad understanding of Operational and technical training processes, legislative compliance and best practices.
You will lead the function and be supported by a small team with an underpinning focus on driving change and continuous productivity improvement while ensuring the business aligns to our Anglo American Values.
