TYPICAL TASKS 

BRAND STRATEGY

  • Assist in the development and management of the implementation of the Group brand strategy globally
  • Work closely with the consumer brands (Forevermark and De Beers Jewellers) to determine how De Beers Group can best support them
  • Work closely with the Social Impact team to create brand benefit and social purpose that reflects De Beers Group’s positive impact
  • Assist in developing the Group brand strategy in local country contexts, creating relevance through localisation (e.g., USA, China, producer countries)
  • Monitor brand risks and measure brand performance
  • Work with the Head of Internal Communications to identify how to communicate the brand strategy to employees in an inspiring and engaging way, earning brand devotion 

 

BRAND COMMUNICATION

  • Drive De Beers Group industry leadership position through targeted industry brand activations
  • Work with local teams to shape in-country Group brand activations

BRAND MANAGEMENT & CREATIVE

  • Assist in developing the creative direction and treatment of the De Beers Group brand
  • Manage the rollout of the brand relaunch and drive brand discipline across the company
  • Manage the development and production of emotionally engaging campaigns and content to activate the brand strategy
  • Develop De Beers Group materials in support of Forevermark and De Beers Jewellers strategies
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Group Brand Communications and Head of Internal Communications to ensure the brand is successfully communicated via all internal and external channels
  • Ensure all expressions of the brand across all touch points are consistent, coordinated, and coherent
  • Manage design and production agencies
  • Manage in-house creative services team
