Technical Services Manager – Grosvenor Mine

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Grosvenor Mine as key member of a new Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will perform a fundamental role by leading the Technical Services team to deliver best practice services and support in the areas of mine planning, survey, ventilation management, Gas Drainage and geological services. You will be central to systems and processes that will drive the delivery of the mine's performance targets and will be accountable for developing a robust business plan for production to maximise the value of the resource. You will also develop and manage the budget and expenditures for your team, ensuring a focus on cost control. You will contribute to the development of strategic mine plans and continuous improvement objectives and drive a culture of innovation in your team to deliver an industry leading service.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining or Geotechnical) as well as S1, S2, S3 and G3. You will have extensive experience within Technical Services in complex, underground coal mining coupled with a high level of strategic thinking, planning and problem solving skills. You will have demonstrated experience leading a team of technical professionals to deliver against set targets and be prepared to drive industry leading Technical Services advice and support to the site. You will be committed to safety, prepared to deliver innovative ideas and have an ability to foster collaborative relationships across the site to contribute to the overall success of the mine.

This is a Monday to Friday rostered role.  As well as a very competitive salary package and modern accommodation options, Grosvenor also offers Fly in Fly out (FIFO), Drive in Drive Out (DIDO) and residential work arrangements.
