CHPP Electrical Technician – Dawson Mine
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to assist in the delivery of robust engineering and maintenance within the CHPP at Dawson Mine. This role currently works a a 4/3 Day Shift only roster, either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
You will need to hold relevant trade qualifications and ideally have experience in a Coal Handling Processing Plant operations. You will possess at least three (3) years’ electrical trade experience including maintenance inspections, industrial installations, fault finding and repair of equipment including; HV Infrastructure, Yard Machines (Stackers/Reclaimers), Conveying Equipment and Motor Control Centres.
High Voltage Switching, Instrumentation, PLC and SCADA control systems experience, along with competencies in Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Forklift, Confined Space and HR Truck License is advantageous but not essential.
You will have a positive and energetic attitude towards team involvement and contribution to the CHPP team. You will show exceptional communication and people skills, possessing knowledge and experience with an ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
