CHPP Reliability Engineer: Mechanical – Dawson Mine
As the Reliability Engineer you will utilise your extensive experience in fixed or mobile plant by providing technical guidance to the maintenance department in promoting the process of defect elimination, identifying modifications and improving equipment reliability safely. You will need the ability to logically problem solve and to provide recommendations on balancing short and long term strategies and solutions for the Dawson CHPP.
This diverse role requires the successful candidate to have eye for detail and the skill to analyse performance data to identify and prioritise areas for improvement. You will be responsible for improving asset operational time through Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, Managing Machine Heath Programs and Continuous Improvement.
It is important that you are able to communicate and engage with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will require either a mechanical engineering degree or Trade qualification. Previous experience within the reliability field would be an advantage. Being computer literate with experienced in CMMS software and Microsoft packages is desirable.
You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the operation. As Anglo American's Coal business is dedicated to achieving Zero Harm, a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards is a prerequisite for all positions.
This is a Monday to Friday Role based in Moura, with subsidised accommodation available.
