Mine Site Electrician – Dawson Mine
We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Industrial Electrician to join our team. You will have relevant trade qualifications and must have an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Mechanic licence which will assist you to deliver quality engineering to Dawson Mine. High Voltage switching tickets and evidence of working in a QLD coal mine conducting High Voltage Switching is a mandatory requirement. Previous experience with Draglines, Shovels, Transportable Substations, powerline maintenance and Fault Finding is essential. Confined Space, Working at Heights and previous experience in PLC and SCADA control systems is advantageous.
To be successful in this role you will need attention to detail to ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems. You will provide a commitment to working together as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
You will display excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with being a team player in safely achieving targets. This role is on a 5/4/4/5 lifestyle roster and will be offered for a Fixed Term period of approximately 15 months.
